Proposed retirement of Bell Asset Management as Responsible Entity in favour of Perpetual Trustees (The Trust Company (RE Services) Limited)

The Bell Global Equities Fund, Bell Global Emerging Companies Fund and Bell Global Sustainable Fund have unitholder meetings called for 14 March 2024.

The purpose is for investors to vote on proposals that Bell Asset Management retire as the Responsible Entity (RE) of these funds and be replaced by Perpetual Trustees. Under these proposals described in the relevant Fund notices of meeting, we will remain as investment manager of the Funds and continue to manage the portfolios using our existing investment team and strategy.  Perpetual is a long established and specialist Responsible Entity, and we believe that the change of RE is in the best interests of investors.

We urge investors to vote in favour of the proposals, which will result in the same investment management for the funds but with the greater resources of Perpetual applied to the role of Responsible Entity.
